What information do I need to have on the check that is auto-drafted by my bank or company each year to renew my TU membership?
Many TU members elect to setup an automatic process with either their bank or company to auto-draft a check to renew their TU membership each year.
TU's welcomes this method of renewing membership, but to ensure your payment is applied correctly, we request that you notify your bank or company regarding the following information that needs to be printed on your check: Your membership ID number. This is your 9-digit member ID number found on your TU membership card. Having this ensures that we are crediting the appropriate account and not creating a duplicate record for you. Include "Source Code RR" on the check as well. This ensures that we are crediting your payment as a membership renewal dues and not as a gift to a current fundraising campaign.
