TU has teamed up with PLANTRA®, North America’s leader in woody vegetation establishment, to promote successful tree and shrub planting. TU volunteers donate more than 600,000 hours every year to help their local streams and rivers, and much of that time is spent planting trees and other native vegetation. A new partnership with PLANTRA® will help to make sure that these plantings survive, thrive and succeed—the first time. Under PLANTRA’s Habitat Partners Program, when TU members purchase of any of PLANTRA’s seedling survival and growth products PLANTRA will donate 15% of the product purchase to support TU’s habitat and educational programs, including Embrace-A-Stream, which has funded more than 900 local projects nation-wide to date.
