Beverly oversees the day-to-day operations of TU’s volunteer program including supporting 36 state councils and 376 local chapters across the country and delivering a suite of applications, trainings and resources aimed at helping volunteers more easily and effectively accomplish TU’s mission in their local communities. Prior to joining TU in 2007, Beverly worked for the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance and the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League. Beverly grew up in Charleston, S.C. and received a B.A. from the University of Virginia.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, Rob's time is spent working closely with TU volunteer leaders. Rob manages the online Fundraising Program and Marketplace. Rob also serves as the point of contact for the formation of new chapters and all Embrace-a-Stream questions. Before coming to TU in 2010, Rob worked for Orvis and in the outreach office at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. When he is not in the office, Rob likes to spend his time fishing the Shenandoah National Park or visiting friends at his alma mater, the University of the South, in Sewanee, Tenn.

Like all of us in Volunteer Operations, Wes works to mobilize more TU members to volunteerism and to empower already active volunteers with the tools necessary to do the “job.” Going forward Wes will be the point of contact within Volunteer Operations for all questions regarding insurance, IRS requirements and rebates, as well. Wes joined Volunteer Operations in 2011 and came to us from a background in outdoor education and most recently government relations with a focus on water and the environment. Wes grew up in Richmond, VA and received a B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
