The bulk of the dry fly activity is taking place very early in the morning, or in the evening just before it gets dark. Nymphing the fast water during the day can be productive even when the sun is shining bright...as long as water temperatures remain below 70.
We had great fishing over the weekend, and it should continue this week. We could see some scattered storms over the next few days, but it sounds like they could be localized so it is hard to predict what (if any) effect they will have on the river. Just remember, any rain is good in late July! For daily updates head over to our website and check out our fishing report.
