CVCTU Summer 2014 Kayak Drawing

The seat is very comfortable and you can spend all morning or afternoon without any discomfort. I am 67 years old and enjoy one just like it. The kayak weighs about 82 pounds (as displayed) and has a capasity of up to 400 pounds. It contains horizontal rod holders so that the rods do not get tangled in low hanging branches. The chances are in your favor due to only 200 tickets being sold. I also believe that the price paid for the tickets can be used as a donation to a 501(c)3 organization at tax time (ask your accountant).

CVCTU will be displaying the kayak at our scheduled Fly Fishing For Vets Day in Cave Spring, GA at Rolater Park on June 28, 2014  (9:00am 'til 1:00pm ). Come by and see it and purchase a chance to win it. Otherwise, the ECO Center at Ridge Ferry Park has allowed us to display the kayak at their facility until all 200 chances have been sold.

Here is an update on the kayak ticket sales:

The kayak is on display at Community National Bank in Rome, GA  (307 E. 2nd Ave.) We have less than 25 tickets left to sell before we draw a winner. The bank has several tickets available...see Carol.

Only 200 tickets are being the odds are very good. Purchasing a ticket is a donation to Coosa Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the price of the ticket can be income deductible under the Federal Tax Code. Each ticket earns the purchaser a chance to win this kayak.

The winner will be notified by phone or mail as soon as all 200 tickets have been sold.

Good Luck!

CVCTU has set a date for a "Float & Fish" on the Etowah for the morning of Saturday, Aug. 2nd. We will meet at Walmart on Cartersville Hwy. here in Rome at 7:15 am.

Bring your own canoe or kayak equipment and supplies. We will float from Ladd's Camping site on Euharlee Rd. and take out downstream at the bridge on Euharlee Rd. after about 7 miles on the river.

Let's have some fun!
