TU recently invited three great photographers--Tim Romano, Ted Wood and Jeff Foott--to spend three days shooting the amazing Green River in Utah and document what could be lost if developer Aaron Million succeeds in his proposal to pipe water 560 miles from the Green to the Front Range of Colorado. The reduced flows could damage the world-class trout fishery in the Green, not to mention the local communities and businesses that depend on outdoor recreation. Tim Romano of Field and Stream has just posted some initial shots and impressions of the Green and Flaming Gorge area on his Fly Talk blog. As Tim marveled, the Green "is simply like no other trout stream I have ever seen." I think you'll agree when you see his stunning photos--this is a magical place and well worth protecting.
