Beau Beasley is a renowned writer, lecturer, and fisherman. His published works include two books, Fly Fishing the Mid-Atlantic and Fly Fishing Virginia. Beau has also written a host of magazine and newspaper articles on subjects as diverse as Baitfish Wars: The Ongoing Fight over Menhaden Management, Whose River Is It? [the litigation over Virginia's Jackson River], and Advanced Tactics for Farm Ponds.
Beau's specialty is his home waters of Virginia. Beau's insider's knowledge of Virginia ranges from the brook trout streams of the Shenandoah Valley to the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. As is evidenced by his book, Fly Fishing the Mid-Atlantic, Beau is thoroughly conversant with the streams and rivers of Maryland and Pennsylvania as well.
Don't miss Beau's talk for the MDTU Chapter Meeting on September 17th, 7:30pm, at Towson Presbyterian Church. (Free and open to the public; all are welcome.) Bring your questions; Beau will be happy to answer them and sign copies of his books which retail for $30 each. His newest book about Project Healing Waters is scheduled for release in 2015.
