TU and BottleRock team up to support Water and Wine

Partners for salmon and steelhead

We’re always looking for innovative ways to engage people in cold water fish conservation. Now, thanks to a new partnership between TU and Latitude 38 Entertainment Group, you can add attending BottleRock Napa Valley, northern California’s finest music festival, to your portfolio of conservation strategies.

By using the promo code, TROUTUNLIMITED, you can save up to $50 off your tickets and know that 10% of your ticket proceeds are going to salmon and steelhead restoration and to making fishing better in streams you care about.

TU and Latitude 38 Entertainment Group are partnering to promote BottleRock Napa Valley, a three-day festival of fine music, food and drink in the heart of California’s Wine Country. 10% of tickets for this festival sold through TU will be donated to TU’s Water and Wine program, a unique partnership with wine grape growers on the north-central coast of California that aims to improve water supply reliability for farmers and streamflows for salmon and steelhead.

Dave Graham, CEO of Latitude 38 Entertainment Group and member of TU’s Coldwater Conservation Fund, said, ““BottleRock is the premier music festival in northern California, showcasing the finest food and drink of Wine Country and Napa Valley’s world famous hospitality. This area’s landscape and natural history are a big part of what makes Wine Country so appealing, and we are very pleased to join with Trout Unlimited in helping to protect and restore streams and salmon in this region.”

BottleRock Napa Valley

BottleRock Napa Valley is a three-day festival of diverse music, food and drink, the “Ultimate Celebration” in the heart of California’s Wine Country. This year’s all-star lineup includes world-class acts like Outkast, TV on the Radio, LLCool J, The Cure, Weezer, and Heart. The festival includes an equally impressive array of wine and beer makers and culinary artistry.

Water and Wine

Since 2008, Trout Unlimited has partnered with grape growers in Northern California to help restore and reconnect critical salmon and steelhead habitat through our Water and Wine program. This partnership has turned California’s climate and variable precipitation from year to year into opportunities, rather than obstacles, for wild salmon and grape growers alike.

The Water and Wine program has worked with grape growers to improve flows and restore habitat on some of the most important streams for coho salmon and steelhead north of San Francisco, including Grape Creek in the Russian River watershed, as well as Wine Creek in Dry Creek Valley and Redwood Creek in Knights Valley.
