Cimarron River

Tip of the week

The better fishing is the lower part of the state park. Fish the edges with dry-droppers. In the deeper water might need to nymph. For dries use adult stonefly patterns. For droppers use Trico emerges, Brassies, Copper Johns and SJ Worms.

Seven-day forecast

The Cimarron should continue to fish. The Stoneflies are slowing down but still seeing a few and fish are still taking adult patterns. Starting to see Tricos. The Cimarron is a solid consistent fishery throughout the summer with June typically being a fun dry fly time.
