Cimarron River

Tip of the week
Techniques

Water coming out of Eagle Nest Lake is low better fishing below the Clear Creek confluence. Mornings have been excellent to hot for dry fly fishing, afternoons are good. Look for Tricos and rising fish in throughout the mornings. Look for some hoppers too.

Seven-day forecast

Should start seeing more water coming out of Eagle Nest Lake soon as the afternoon rains are starting to move out. When a little more water is released expect the Cimarron to be fishing really good to excellent through September.
