Our Chapter will clean up litter along Highway H on Saturday Oct. 11th. Meet at Noon at the Delta Diner and after some carb loading we will begin.
Our October meeting will be held at the Delta Diner, which is South of Iron River on County H. Dinner is at 5:30 pm and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. Our speaker will be Author Dennis LaBare, who has written books on bird hunting and trout fishing.

The past couple of days I have been fishing Weber Lake in Iron County. This rainbow hit a Parachute Adams just before sunset. Surface temp is 58 degrees and a lot of fish are loading up on food on top.

The Namekagon River Partnership is hosting a discussion on the scenic river at Lakewoods. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the round table discussions.
Volunteers are needed to search waterways for invasive species. After receiving a brief identification training, teams of participants wil disperse to rivers to look for species of concern. Marion & I fished the White River on Sunday July 6th. The hatch was on and Marion landed a 19 inch brown trout. I was not so successful, but still enjoyed the adventure.
