This July 12th is GBTU third and final BSA Fly Fishing Merit Badge day for the year. It starts at 8:30 am and finished at 4 pm. It is being held at Nippersink Forest Preserve just west of Grayslake, IL on rte 120.

Duane Watson, long time GBTU member, was honored with the installation of a plaque in his memory in the workshop of the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum. He had an interest in fishing bamboo fly rods. A number of the donated rods were from the historical makers in the Catskill region.
