I went fishing yesterday evening, and noticed under the Prescott St Bridge in Pepperell, that there is, what appears to be, a beaver dam. It COULD be simply a debris pile up, I didnt look too closely, but, from the downstream side, it appeared to be pretty consistent with beaver activity.

Okay fellers & felleretts, dust off those tying vices, it's time for the "One Fly" contest on the Gunpowder. Same rules as previous years; the person who catches the most inches of trout on his/her designated fly wins, lose your fly and you're done.

Too bad about this double the normal flow rate from the dam but I think it will be dropped back by wednesday this week.
The weather this week will be very fall like with daytime highs only in the middle sixties with lows at night dropping into the lower forties.
The Big Laramie River flows have dropped and the river is clear. Hatches of PMD's and Caddis have been good on days with cloud cover.
