UCCTU was well represented sending 13 volunteers to the project including a couple from the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper who saw the event posted on our FB page (they live in Lagrange) and two women who were guests of members.
Tough to Navigate but worth making friends with the locals.

British Columbia’s provincial government gave its approval for the Kerr-Sulphurets-Mitchell (KSM) Mine to move forward, concluding that Alaska’s salmon and water quality would suffer no ill effects as long as steps to mitigate pollution are followed. Many Alaskans strongly disagree.
Wild Appalachian brook trout are ego fish.
Because their lives are such a struggle, catching one rarely is.
To survive in those small, tumbling mountain creeks, brook trout must be opportunistic feeders, aggressively gobbling anything that looks like food, including our flies.
