Volunteers are needed to search waterways for invasive species. After receiving a brief identification training, teams of participants wil disperse to rivers to look for species of concern. Dedicated local partners statewide, such as Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance, St. Croix River Association, Upper Sugar River Watershed Association, and many more, have identified bridges, culverts, parks, and boat landings where invasives are likely to be introduced, intentionally or unintentionally. After their scavenger hunt, volunteers will reconvene at the rendezvous site to report on what they found.
Volunteers are needed. There will be 20 rendezvous sites around the state. Advanced registration is required. Registration will close on August 31st. For a complete listing of rendezvous and monitoring sites, and for registration information, visit
