Fished the upper Madison around Raynolds Pass and 3 Dollar Bridge yesterday. A bit windy and some snow squalls, but the fishing was good! Expected to find more fish feeding on top on midges, but there weren't a lot of rising trout. My son Kristopher managed to get a couple on dry midges, but nymphig was most productive. Caught some on Midge nymphs and the best fishing was with hot bead Pink Ray Charles in #16. Weather kept the anglers away, and we had the place to ourselves.
