Georgetown Lake

Tip of the week
Techniques

The Lake is still cold, some fish will still be spawning along the shore. But most fish will be down deep (15-20ft). With these fish you will want to row around and search for schools. When you find them throw Black or olive Buggers, and strip in slowwww! If you do see any dries out go to shallow water and look for cruising trout.

Seven-day forecast

This warming trend is much needed to spark the dry fly fishing on the lake. Mid mornings expect mayflies on those calm days. Our Philipsburg Flint Creek Outdoors shop now open for the season so if you want to stock up and be ready for the opener or fish Rock Creek Stop in and say hi to Terra who is heading up the team there.
Good Luck From our Team!
