Georgetown Lake

Tip of the week
Techniques

Have two rods rigged, one dry and one wet. For your dry/dropper use a purple haze or mahogany dunn parachute (cali look alike) and drop either a P.T. or zebra midge off the dry (16-22). Keep it short, under 12" on 5x fluoro.
On the intermediate line slow strip an olive beadhead bugger.

Seven-day forecast

Georgetown sight fishes best on hot, clear days so this week may not be a great option. Cool down this week with frost advisory in effect until 9/12, the weekend should warm back up. The fish will be eating but it will be harder to see them.
Fishing has been good up there and Phillipsburg is booming, new brewery in town!
Stop by our shop, Flint Creek Outdoors, in Philipsburg for the most up to date fishing reports. 406.859.9500. We are open 8am - 5pm every day of the week thru September.
