Nymphing is the best presentation today, the river is packed with ice until early afternoon.
For the past several days the river gauge has read "ice." I'm surprised that it hasn't cleared up today because the weather is getting warmer at mid-elevations as well as in the canyon, but I guess it needs a bit more runoff to clear out the ice jams in the tailouts. No floating at the moment, but there is open water to fish.
