Vice President of Marketing

The position will oversee the organization’s marketing strategy and tactics as it seeks to attract America’s anglers to engage in its conservation mission. Among the responsibilities of this position will be the development and execution of marketing and communications goals and strategies embodied in TU’s new five-year strategic plan. Requirements for the position include 8-10 years experience in marketing and strategic communications, preferably brand management. Must demonstrate proven results/expertise in web-based communications, marketing, and sales. Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills.  An advanced degree is desirable, but not required.  Passion for the outdoors is essential and a love of fly fishing is a strong plus. more...


Field Technician - West Branch Susquehanna Restoration Initiative
Lock Haven, Pennsylvania Field Office
Trout Unlimited’s West Branch Susquehanna Restoration Initiative is a comprehensive and collaborative effort to restore the region’s water resources that are impacted by abandoned mine drainage and abandoned mine lands to benefit water quality, fish, and local communities. We are looking for a technician to assist with field surveys throughout the watershed, provide technical assistance to TU chapters and volunteers working on the initiative and assist with implementation of communications and outreach efforts working towards the river's restoration. Southwest Colorado Backcountry Coordinator
Southwestern Colorado
We are looking for a backcountry coordinator to work towards long-term protection of quality terrestrial and aquatic habitats on public land in Southwest Colorado.  To this end, the backcountry coordinator would design and implement campaigns to organize hunters and anglers around a variety of public land conservation initiatives. Responsibilities include grassroots organizing of TU members and other hunters and anglers; meeting with local community representatives, legislative officials, state and federal land management agencies; and leading backcountry protection campaigns while working to demonstrate the values of roadless lands to fish and wildlife and fishing and hunting. more...


Postdoctoral Researcher Position: Invasive species and climate change
Boise, Idaho Office
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to execute a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation-funded project predicting future distributions of native and non-native trout across the western U.S. under a changing climate.  The project involves use of a large database of current trout distributions (10,000 presence/absence records) with local stream flow and stream temperature estimates and projections to model the current and future “environmental niche” of several native and non-native trout species. more...
