Happy New Year, Coldwater Conservation Fund members!

With recent rains on the West Coast, snow across much of the interior, and a good mixture of both rain and snow on the East Coast, we are truly in the heart of winter. Winter precipitation, though, is what pulls steelhead and salmon out of the salt, builds up mountain snowpack that melts off into streams and rivers, and fills lakes - all of the ingredients for another year of great trout fishing. 2012 Trout Unlimited Events

Each year, TU hosts events in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and New York, celebrating leaders of the conservation community while raising money for our many initiatives. The funds raised at these events enable us to conduct important conservation work, undertake groundbreaking research on coldwater fisheries, and connect anglers with one another in local communities. 2012 Trout Unlimited Trips

2012 is slated for another classic lineup of CCF trips, from bonefish in the Bahamas to Montana's famed Smith River float. Trout Unlimited forges partnership with Patagonia Sur

Trout Unlimited announced in December a new partnership with Patagonia Sur, a private enterprise that works to acquire and protect precious and irreplaceable fish and wildlife habitat in Chilean Patagonia. The partnership will provide incredible fishing opportunities in Patagonia for TU members while also allowing members to know that their investment in angling will go to protect ciritical fishing habitat in Patagonia. »Read More
