Madison River - Between Quake Lake and Ennis

Tip of the week

Small nymphs trailed behind sculpins or stoneflies have continued to be most effective. Dry fly fishing has been good during the morning and evenings or when overcast. Small attractor dries, hoppers and ants are starting to work better now, and flying ants are starting to show up as well. Streamer fishing has been decent early in the morning.

Seven-day forecast

More cool, rainy weather is in the forecast for this weekend. Fall fishing conditions are starting, so you don't need to be on the water too early.
