Flip Cams - Volunteer Use

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

TU has a number of video recorders that we want to share with volunteers -- to help videotape and document local conservation projects, stream clean-ups, tree plantings and other events of interest.  These Flip Cams are so easy to use -- you just turn them on, press the red button once to record and once to stop. Volunteers who are interested in borrowing a Flip Cam for a specific activity should read the guidelines, provide a one paragraph summary of the planned use for the Flip Cam and submit it to the TU staff nearest you. The borrowing period for a flip cam is three weeks and while the camera is in your possession, your chapter or council is responsible for any damage that may occur. Imagine recording and uploading your biggest chapter or council event. Then, imagine sharing the recording on your web site and on TU’s You Tube site. This will be a very powerful tool for showing people the great work of TU members, and we look forward to seeing the many creative talents of our members.
