About Trout Unlimited

Trout Unlimited is a national organization with more than 150,000 volunteers and approximately 400 chapters nationwide. This dedicated grassroots army is matched by an expert conservation staff working out of more than 30 offices wherever trout live, who ensure that TU is at the forefront of coldwater fisheries restoration and protection work at the local, state, and national levels. Our mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America's coldwater fisheries and their watersheds so that our children can enjoy healthy fisheries in their home waters.

The Coldwater Conservation Fund (CCF) was founded in 1992 by a group of TU's most generous donors, who wished to establish a means of raising funds to support TU's science and program work. The CCF is composed of those TU members who give $1,000 or greater annually. CCF members' support of specific scientific and programmatic work as well as their general support of the organization is vital to TU's ability to fulfill its mission.
