Day 1 at the ranch on Slough Creek was wonderful! We had beautiful weather, the Cutthroat trout of Slough Creek were ready to play, and the Green Drake mayflies and Golden Stoneflies obliged them. The Pere Marquette is in west central Michigan just south of US 10 and flows to Lake Michigan through Ludington. A new TU chapter is forming nearby and will have a banquet on June 4 (pmtu.org).
