I put this together today just kind of making it up as I went along and came out with what I think is kind of like a hybrid Hare's Ear/ Copper John. If you could be fishing anywhere right now, where would you be? High in the Rockies? Waist-deep in a coastal steelhead stream? Sightfishing to enormous brown trout in New Zealand?
If you could only fish dry flies, nymphs or streamers for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Why?
A lot of us are gear hounds. We love our rods, our vests, pack and flies. They see a lot of abuse, and I often wonder what they'd say if they had a chance. My favorite fly box, packed with four full leaves of nymphs would probably say "Help, I'm floating the down the Madison".
