Pere Marquette River

Tip of the week
Techniques

Hopper/Dropper rig - Hopper patterns (especially those with flecks of red) with a nymph dropper (18-24 inches below hopper) and drifted in tandem along bubble line and along grassy banks with undercuts and logs.

Mousing in the dark of night is still effective at times.

As the water drops terrestrials will be the bug to go to. The lodge here already has s plethora of these spring legged critters jumping and eating my flowers.

Seven-day forecast

Sunny and Hot today. High 80's this week and touching into the 90s. No significant rains expected, and the rivers should continue low and clear.
