Pere Marquette River

Tip of the week
Techniques

Hopper/Dropper rig - Hopper patterns (especially those with flecks of red) with a nymph dropper (18-24 inches below hopper) and drifted in tandem along bubble line and along grassy banks with undercuts and logs. Streamer fishing has picked up with recent rains and several cloudy days.

Seven-day forecast

Big cold front moved in giving us fall like temps and some rain. Not a lot but some. Streamer activity is picking up a little but still keep it small. Nymphing is pretty good right now. Terrestrial will pick back up when the heat returns which it looks like it is for the next couple of weeks.
