On The Rise

Trout Unlimited's television program "On the Rise," will air on the Sportsman Channel in spring 2010.

The show's 13 episodes will highlight places where TU is working on rivers and streams around the country. In the upcoming season, the show will travel to Bristol Bay, Alaska, where a proposed open-pit gold and copper mine threatens the world's most prolific salmon fishery.  On the opposite side of the country, the show visits the Delaware River--which proves to be as challenging for host Frank Smethurst as it is for the many anglers who regularly fish its waters. In Colorado, Frank visits the Animas River and is greatly rewarded for his efforts there.
