Students examine impact of acid mine drainage

Seventh and eighth grade students from the Mount Nittany Middle School Indigo team participated in a field trip to the headwaters of the Beech Creek watershed near Snow Shoe on April 23. The goal was to examine the effects of acid mine drainage on the watershed’s water chemistry and food web.
