House Vote Blocks FDA Approval of Genetically Engineered Salmon

The U.S. House of Representatives last week passed an amendment that blocks the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from approving genetically engineered (GE) salmon - the first genetically engineered animal intended for human consumption.
