Why am I receiving a Membership Renewal Notice?
Membership renewal notices begin mailing out 5 months prior to your expiration date. There is no penalty to renewing early - it will add a full year on to your current expiration date (you are not deducted any months for renewing early).
You will continue to receive notices until you renew your membership, or your membership expires. I already renewed.... If you recently submitted your renewal dues payment and still received a renewal notice, our apologizes for you receiving this notice. It is possible they crossed in the mail. There is always a period of time between when names are pulled for the next round of renewal notice mailings and when payments are coming in to be processed.
If you continue to receive renewal notices, please let us know by emailing trout@tu.org [1]. We will be able to research this further to find out if you may have any duplicate records on file.
Another option to renew is online. Simply login to the Members Center [2] with your login name and password and access your "Welcome to My TU" page. There will be a link to the right to renew your membership. Or, if you prefer to automatically renew your membership to Trout Unlimited, please visit us online to learn more about our Preferrred Members program. Enrolling in this program saves TU the expense of mailing renewal notices, postage, and check processing. Thank you for renewing your membership to TU to continue our mission: to conserve, protect, and restore North America's coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. You help make a difference.
If you feel you are recieving too many renewal notices, we can flag your membership profile to receive less. Please call 1800.834.2419 or email trout@tu.org [1] to receive fewer renewal notices or solicitations.
