How can I start a TU chapter? How can I revitalize an existing one?
Creating a New Chapter
If you don’t have a TU chapter in your area, the basic requirements for starting a new chapter are:
The first several months are critical to the chapter’s success. Initial activities will center around establishing communications with new members and developing plans and programs. A new chapter is encouraged to hold a fundraising event within the first 18 months of receiving its charter.
Adequate communications and solid membership programs are essential for the new chapter to grow and prosper.
To get more information on starting a new Trout Unlimited chapter please contact Volunteer Operations Coordinator, Rob Keith [1].
