For the first time, the CCF is offering a steelhead trip to British Columbia’s remarkable Skeena River system, home of the world’s largest steelhead. Using the deluxe Frontier Farwest Lodge (www.bulkleysteelhead.com [1]) as our base camp, we’ll spend seven nights and six full days fishing two legendary rivers, the Bulkley and Morice.The Morice is one of the most wadeable and picturesque rivers in the Skeena system, and Frontier Farwest maintains the only two overnight camps in the Bulkley River canyon. If you opt for one of the overnight float trips on the Bulkley, you’ll enjoy exceptional steelhead fishing and wildlife viewing, and you can fish as late into the night as you like before retiring to your heated, raised-floor, wall-style tent.
