On May 2, 2013, TU is hosting its Annual Spring Dinner in New York City at the beautiful Central Park Boathouse. Each year this evening honors the contributions of conservationists, financial leaders and internationally-recognized figures including Robert Rubin, former Secretary of the Treasury and Mike Kowalski, CEO of Tiffany & Co., Ted Turner, and celebrates our shared passion for angling and conversation.
Considering himself the greatest fly fishing guide in the eastern and western and northern and southern hemispheres, Hank Patterson will entertain us with his interpretation of fly fishing. His brand of expert advice on everything from casting to rigging dropper-hoppers, to PMDs (Purple Mountain Damsels, of course) and cuttie-rain-browns has been recognized with the Best Humor Award at the 7th Annual Drake Flyfishing Video Awards.
We hope that you will join conservationists, anglers and philanthropists from the greater New York area to celebrate TU's work to protect fish habitat and your angling opportunities across North America. Thanks to you, we're able to conduct critical conservation work, do groundbreaking research on coldwater fisheries, and connect anglers with one another in local communities.
