Shoshone River

Tip of the week
Techniques

The trout are really keying on the hatches right now. Best fishing 10 am - 3 pm for dry flies. Nymphs and streamers work any time. Swing soft hackle peacock wet flies for best success when the caddisflies are active.

Seven-day forecast

Temps in the 60's during the day with some locally heavy afternoon thunder storms.

Guided trips are available. Feel free to join us for some great early season dry fly action on the lower Shoshone or Bighorn Rivers, or just float and strip streamers while North Fork Anglers does the rowing. The fishing has been phenomenal.
