Thread: Grey 6/0
Wing: Turkey Quill
Body: Yellow Poly Yarn
Head: Deer Hair, Flared and Trimmed

This was tied on the smallest end of the spectrum – a #12 hook. Wind the yellow poly yarn from hook shank to 2/3 of hook. Fasten turkey quill on top of the poly yarn. Flair deer hair and trim the head, simple.

For a Letort Hopper, leave an over-wing of deer hair when trimming.
