South Fork of the Snake River

Tip of the week

Nymphing is going to be your go-to method for the winter months. Don't be surprised if you see some fish eating midges or baties on the surface though. Streamers worked deep and slow can produce some surprises! Look for fish in slower water types. Fish have moved from their summer water and now holding in areas where they can expel the least amount of energy possible.

Seven-day forecast

Flows have increased to make room for our large snowpack. Flows on the South Fork will remain around 16,000 cfs for most of the spring.
