Techniques 

Dropoff on grass flats are still holding the largest trout. Tailing reds are working the low incoming tide on the flats.

Conditions 

Water is starting to clear up. Large schools of red fish and large trout are moving in shallow water to feed with the mullet schools. Mar. will bring tailing Reds,feeding on small shrimp and crabs. Mackerel are in deep drop offs. Been catching 100 to 200 trout per trip on fly.Lots of big Mackerel and Blue fish have showed up with bait schools, some fish are up to 6 lbs. March weather has started off in the high 60 to low 70's. Cold fronts have stoped comimg thru every week making it better to find a day to fish, hopefully March will be better. Tarpon have started showing up in pot holes in the Ft. De Soto area.
