About me
I'm pretty new to fishing, due to a fear of all things slimy. I've made serious progress, but I have a long way to go. :) I graduated from UWSP in 2009 with degrees in Instrumental Music Education and General Music Education. I'm a marathoner a few times over. I own an increasingly successful photography business and I love it. I really have a passion for what I do, and I love being able to use my creativity in this way! :) Dancing is a big part of my life. I'm a dance instructor- teaching ballroom, Latin, and swing dancing. Helping others learn to dance is incredibly fun and very rewarding for me. When I'm dancing, I feel like the person that I would like to be. I'd love to naturally own the attitude for tango, but I'm pretty sure I was born to waltz and foxtrot. ;) I put my heart on the line with everything I do, and it's not because I'm weak, but because I'm incredibly strong. It is hard to step outside of my comfort zone and it's no accident that I usually appear energetic and positive.
Favorite quote
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson
