MDTU February Meeting featuring William Heresniak of Eastern Trophy Fly Fishing

Our February 19th Speaker:  William Heresniak of Eastern Trophy Fly Fishing

William Heresniak, who has 30 years of fishing experience, has been guiding professionally since 2003.  He operates Eastern Trophies Fly Fishing in Alexandria, Virginia.  Among other rivers and streams, he guides on Accotink Creek, the Casselman River, the Gunpowder, the North Branch of the Potomac, the Savage, and the Shenandoah.  An accomplished fly caster and fly tier, he offers instruction in both.

William will answer questions about his home waters.  He will also speak to you about how to find and land trophy trout.  William has a professional background in education, athletics, and coaching.  Guiding and instructing come naturally to him.  He has helped numerous clients catch large trout, small mouth bass, and tiger musky.  His efficient techniques, and focused presentation will help you bring larger fish to net and also give you greater respect for the size of the trout that inhabit the Mid-Atlantic waters.
