There’s so much I want to say about the video below, but it’s best to just see it for yourself.
I’ve seen giant trevally chasing birds in the surf thanks to footage captured by the cinematographic pros at Blue Planet, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this, and I’m not sure how it’s been on YouTube for almost three years without running across my feed at least once.
You know, when your fly is too big to actually cast, you’re chasing some big, aggressive fish. And, of course, what a great way to reuse a discarded flipflop. Check it out.
