Why can't I link my membership with my on-line account?

Hi there,

I've looked and looked and it appears that I cannot link my membership to my on-line account. Is this really the deal? Seems a bit archaic. Please tell me there are plans to add this functionality?

I'm pretty sure there's a better way to do it, but I actually deleted and started a new online account with the same e-mail address and my donation history shows up now and I was able to set my group to the appropriate group.  There has to be a better solution to this though.

I too am having difficulty in setting up the commention with the new on-line Community Forum.  Any other suggestions other than deleting my exisiting account?
