Flint Creek

Tip of the week
Techniques

Fishing hoppers or caddis super tight under the grass banks and well as giving them a little action. If you can't get em up tether a dropper prince or pt nymph about 15" down. As access is difficult make sure you ask first!

Seven-day forecast

Cooler weather has slowed things down with the surface fishing. But streamers and nymphs have been getting noticed by some bigger fish lately. Rock Creek is now open top to bottom so look for some good fishing to be had up there (no one's fished there really for over 2 months)

Good Luck from the team at Blackfoot River Outfitters and Flint Creek Outdoors! Our Pburg shop, Flint Creek Outdoors, is open every day now. Good luck and stop in the shops for great Orvis gear and the best flies in the region. Be sure and meet our new manager at FCO - Josh is new from Orvis Chicago but not new to Montana fishing.
