About me
Currently I serve as TU's Director of the PA Coldwater Habitat Restoration and Eastern Abandoned Mine Programs. These programs are based out of an office in Lock Haven, PA, and also include four full-time staff: Dr. Shawn Rummel (Field & Research Manager), Rachel Kester (Project Coordinator), Phil Thomas (Habitat Project Coordinator), and Kathleen Lavelle (Field Coordinator). I came on board with TU back in 1999 to coordinate the 3rd Home Rivers Initiative in the Kettle Creek watershed of northcentral Pennsylvania. While my TU work has greatly expanded over the years, I just can't seem to get away from Kettle Creek -- who would when given an opportunity to work in this beautiful part of the Appalachians! When not working, I spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors here in northcentral PA (or Yellowstone, my over favorite place) with my husband and our three children.
