Maccaffertium, Millers River
These Cream Cahills appear in late summer and fall on local streams. Not in great abundance, but there are enough duns and spinners to make a fishable hatch. Fish occastional rises, and use as a searching pattern.  Size 14-16. There appear to be two different species.

Everybody loves a white Christmas

Deerfield River May 20
Fished the Deerfield River on the evening of May 20, 2013. When I arrived just before 6, there was a prodigious flight of caddis flies over the water.

Millers River May 10
Fished the Millers River near Wendell Depot (Massachusetts) on May 10, 2013. Air and water both about 67F. Water temperature a little warm for this time of year.
