The Naugatuck-Pomperaug Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Connecticut Council of Trout Unlimited have partnered with TU national, Costa and SweetWater to run a special “Kick Plastic Cleanup” here on the Naugatuck River.
We will meet at 1 p.m., at Linden Park off Riverside Drive in Naugatuck, CT to clean trash out of the Naugatuck River at various sections up and down stream. Volunteers should wear waders, mud boots or water shoes and bring gloves, sunscreen and bug spray. The cleanup will run until around 4 p.m. and will be followed by a post-cleanup streamside happy hour where we will celebrate the work and enjoy a free can of Kick Plastic Pilsner courtesy of SweetWater Brewing!
