I love the recent trend in fly fishing videos where anglers are transported completely off the grid to chase game fish in far-flung places.
And I’m insanely jealous, too.
Loop’s video series emotes that jealousy at a pretty regular clip—I desperately want to be the guy who hops off the helicopter and starts casting to fish that have no idea what a size 10 Adams looks like until I put one on their nose.
One day, maybe, I’ll be the guy chasing wild browns on Isla Navarino, just an hour’s flight to Antarctica. Seriously. Have you ever seen more beautiful trout streams?
Until my turn comes, I’ll keep watching others wandering anglers have all the fun. Jerks.
