Swan’s Fly Fishing is a Montana-based outfitting company owned and operated by Matt Swan(MT Outfitter #26324) in Livingston, Montana. We specialize in professionally guided fly fishing experiences rooted in conservation, river ethics, and a deep respect for the waters of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. As a licensed Montana outfitter, our focus is on small-group, high-quality trips that emphasize education, stewardship, and unforgettable days on the water.

What we do

We provide fully guided fly fishing trips for trout using drift boats and walk-and-wade programs. Our services include full-day and half-day guided fishing, custom multi-day itineraries, instructional trips for anglers of all skill levels, and specialized seasonal experiences. All equipment, flies, and on-water instruction are included, with a strong emphasis on catch-and-release practices, conservation awareness, and ethical angling.

Where we do it

We guide throughout Paradise Valley and the Greater Yellowstone region, based out of Livingston, Montana. Primary waters include the Yellowstone River, spring creeks of Paradise Valley, and select regional rivers and tributaries depending on season and conditions. Our operations focus on southwest Montana’s wild trout fisheries near Livingston, Bozeman, and Yellowstone National Park.
