Trout Unlimited to Hold Annual Meeting in Minneapolis

Volunteer Leaders and National Staff to Gather September 14-16

MINNEAPOLIS Trout Unlimited will hold its 47th annual meeting in Minneapolis, beginning September 14th.

Attending the annual meeting will be dozens of volunteer leaders from around the country, as well as Trout Unlimited national staff.

The meeting will be held at Marriott Minneapolis City Center at 30 South 7th Street in Minneapolis.

Events open to press include:

Conservation tour of Trout Run, September 14th, 10:15 a.m. Volunteers will showcase their restoration work on three sites along Trout Run. These projects are examples of the work being done throughout the region by TUs Driftless Area Restoration Initiative. Tours will run throughout the day from 10:15 pm 3:00 pm.

Volunteer awards luncheon, September 16th, 12:00 p.m. Awards will be presented to state councils, local chapters and individuals for excellence and leadership in coldwater conservation.

Trout Unlimited is North Americas leading coldwater fisheries conservation organization, with more than 160,000 members dedicated to the protection and restoration of trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.
