About Us

Elevate Fly Fishing is owned and operated by Trevor Sheehan. After years of rodmaking, Trevor has decided to offer his services worldwide; creating custom-built split cane fly rods at an approachable price point. Trevor collaborates with every client to design their perfect rod. EFF also has a selection of fly fishing and lifestyle apparel.

Trevor is a volunteer project coordinator for TU and a corporate sponsor for Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. We support conservation and our access to the beautiful public lands that we all enjoy in America.

What we do

Elevate Fly Fishing handcrafts custom bamboo fly rods using only top quality components and meticulous attention to detail. Grade-A Tonkin cane, agate stripping guides, nickel silver hardware, and a hand turned hardwood reel seat insert all come together to create an heirloom quality, one of a kind fly rod and a functional work of art. We offer everything from small stream 3 weights up to 8 and 9 weights designed for bonefish and redfish. Trevor does everything from splitting the cane to test-casting every rod for quality control.
