About Us

Equinox is owned and operated by Cameo and Brooks – a fun-loving pair with loads of fishing and outdoor exploration experience. We live in Sitka and are excited to share our knowledge of the area and its culture with our guests.

What we do

Equinox offers custom multiday adventure cruises based out of Sitka, Alaska. Cameo and Brooks take groups of up to 6 guests on 5-day expeditions to explore Southeast, Alaska. Equinox is a 53′ fiberglass motor yacht with 3 staterooms and 2 full heads. We have a 25′ sportfishing boat which can be towed along on excursions as well as a RIB dinghy, small fleet of kayaks, paddleboards and packrafts. Each day guests have a choice of activities such as fishing, hiking or paddling and the opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this region.

Where we do it

Equinox is based in historic Sitka, a fishing community nestled in the Tongass National Forest on Baranof Island. The landscape is breathtaking and invites fishermen and explorers alike.
