What we do

Since our establishment in 2001, ARRC has specialized in providing turnkey design/build services for wetland mitigation, stream and floodplain restoration, fish habitat enhancement, and sediment reduction projects, as well as providing consulting services to its clients.

ARRC’s highly skilled and expert personnel provide a multitude of comprehensive stream, wetland, and floodplain restoration services. ARRC provides these services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, with a specialized focus on the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

Providing turnkey design/build services allows ARRC to deliver the highest quality of work to its clients in a cost-efficient and timely manner. ARRC’s integration of expert, proven project design principles and in-field adaptive project management streamlines coordination and maximizes both efficiency and delivery. ARRC is fully committed to providing the most current and technologically sound methods of design and construction implementation to its clients.

Resources

ARRC’s diverse fleet of heavy equipment, highly skilled operators, and Rosgen trained project professionals give clients the highest level of project integrity, expertise, and real-world experience. With over 100 years of collective in-field experience, our staff has training in fluvial geomorphology, river morphology, natural channel design, river assessment and monitoring, as well as experience building regenerative stormwater conveyance and floodplain restoration projects.

ARRC also has a well-established, in-house, native plant nursery featuring over 350,000 plants grown from local genotypes using collected seed and vegetative propagation. Our highly skilled horticultural staff propagate and grow a large variety of native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants for our restoration projects and plantings and for wholesale customers. Our native nursery contains plants varying from herbaceous plugs and live stakes, to container stock, all the way up to large caliper B&B trees for both the piedmont and coastal plain regions.

In 2018, ARRC acquired a new office headquarters with additional greenhouses to expand our nursery operations and to increase our presence in the community. ARRC’s Nursery and Landscape Supplies offers a variety of annuals, perennials, herbs, veggies, ornamental trees and shrubs, as well as providing bulk topsoil, compost, mulches, and amended soils to enhance your property and meet your gardening needs.
